The Cheshire West and North Wales Business Crime Reduction Partnership was established in 2005 to combat business crime in Chester. We are a not for profit organisation working in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council, Flintshire Council as well as both Cheshire and North Wales Constabularies.
Our members range from large national retailers to small and independent traders throughout the 2 boroughs. The partnership was established in Chester City Centre and has evolved in to the large partnership it is today over the last 15years to include town centres, retail parks, night time economy as well as other sectors.
Each area has its own identifiable initiative including exclusion scheme throughout Cheshire West and North Wales to form an alliance between the 2 border areas creating a regional Business Crime Partnership.
Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Environment, Highways and Strategic Transport, Councillor Karen Shore said: “The Business Crime Reduction Partnership is an essential part of our city and town centre landscape within Cheshire West and Chester. We are incredibly proud to host this partnership within the Council, as their services enable businesses to work in conjunction with the Council and Police partners to ensure that our trading areas remain safe and prosperous.”
